Academic Integrity Charter
In accordance with our policies at AFAQ health education platform, we are committed to respecting intellectual property rights when designing and uploading all digital educational materials and published content - whether text, images, software, designs, or other materials on our site or through our system.
Academic integrity is one of our ethical foundations, as it is mandatory and expected by all parties to the educational process, whether from platform operators, trainers, or trainees.
We expect everyone to uphold this moral responsibility.
To enhance this value and by the standards imposed by the National Center for E-Learning, we have published this document to be among our fixed and announced policies on our platform, which includes a list of laws regulating academic integrity practices as follows:
- When the Content Owner agrees to register with the Site and agree to the Terms and Conditions of Use, he/she acknowledges that:
- He is the owner of the content that was published on the platform and guarantees that he is the owner of the account and that his information is correct, and if he owns the copyright or intellectual rights to the content, he acknowledges that he is the owner.
- Posting its content through the Service does not violate the privacy rights, rights of publicity, copyright, contract rights, or other rights of any person or entity. We reserve the right to terminate the account of any person found to have infringed any of the above rights.
- It is prohibited to obtain or provide any unauthorized assistance in exams and final assessments or any other academic work.
- AFAQ platform maintains high academic standards in the design and construction of its courses and expects trainees to act in a fair, honest, and consistent manner with the principles of academic integrity, particularly when conducting assessments, discussions, assignments, and research work; as required.
- AFAQ platform provides ongoing technical support for the students to ensure that they understand the requirements for maintaining academic integrity.
- The platform provides all reports and tools that enable it to deal fairly with trainees who commit violations of the principles of academic integrity.
- It is forbidden to impersonate others and pretend the trainee is someone else to enter the platform and obtain the certificate or CME hours on behalf of others.
- The entry of the trainee to the platform is monitored and the time for attending lectures is fully recorded.
